How does it make you feel?

People say that getting drunk brings out the real you. Here are the basic "Drunk Groups" as I see them The 'Mean drunk', the core of all bar fights and domestic violence, not funny. The 'Lovey Dovey', a little more harmless even though this type of behavior can get a person in trouble. Then there is the drunk 'Genius' alcohol fueled ideas that seem amazing as long as all parties are on the same level of consumption. I once thought of an invention called the Hula shaver for real hairy guys to spin around their necks to cut a clean line around the area where the chest hair overtakes the neck like a creeping vine. Not that good of an idea with a hangover. The'Drunk Singer' almost always the tone def person and usually at the Karaoke bar. Last is the 'Tears in the beer drunk' overcome by emotion and rock power ballads and an occasional snot bubble. Why him ? Why now? Oops Forgot one, the 'Happy drunk', this is a person who actually benefits from a drink or two, it seems to bring them up just enough to cope.

I may have forgotten a few. I welcome any comments.

Lifetime achievment

Honey have you seen my xxxxxl tie dyed tee shirt?
While driving through a small industrial complex I came upon this giant VW bus. I am wondering what the purpose of this project is. Is this a modern day Noah that is building an ark that pops out of fourth gear? Is this a lifelong pot dream conjured up during a bad or good trip. All I know is it's almost done and the guy who is building it is going to have a rough day at the motor vehicle department.

Surprisingly not Stinky

On April 8th, Hub hosted a successful 3 hr. event in support of TOMS' "one day without shoes".

Our barefoot friends enjoyed live music, in-store customized TOMS, food & drink, and a Hub-built "walk-box".

You can still help a child in need by purchasing your TOMS shoes through us!
Get yourself a pair by calling us @ 480-970-0707.

Here are some photos from the event...

Mountain Shadows

The picture is the front doors of the now abandoned Mountain Shadows resort. Growing up in Arizona this is the kind of place you hoped one day to frequent.
I picture the cocktail lounge inhabited by guys wearing western cut suits, silver tips on their collars and
guys named Duke and Rusty. These two are obviously here to meet one of the many old money dolls
sitting at the bar. It is rumored that John Wayne, Steve Mcqueen and a long list of others stayed here. Some of the best real estate in the city and still no takers.
Developers however did manage to open the Montelucia an architecturally retarded mega resort already in and out of bankruptcy.
Mountain Shadows is like finding a mint condition Pucci sport coat in a thrift store for a buck.
Somebody please step up grab this amazing property and bring it back to it's glory days.
By the way Rusty called he wants his coat back.

I have to confess that I have been favoring the guys on this blog. Let me say that Hub has a great woman's area. Denim from Nudie,Genetic denim,Diesel,G-Star, leggings from Citizens and Goldsign. Fashion from Patterson J. Kincaid, Kaylee Tankus, Eryn Brinie, Left on Houston and tons more.Chan Luu,Saya Hibino are a few of the jewelry lines we feature in our ever changing cases. Our staff is knowledgeable and freindly. We are not a chain in case you didn't know,so you wont see 50 of each item on the racks.
